Review of Wish Upon (2017) by Acacia — 20 Jul 2017
This is NOT a bad movie! I went with a friend and we both enjoyed it. It is definitely not a scary movie, but it does have a good story and it certainly kept our attention throughout. Someone else said it is kind of like a "Mean Girls" movie and that is partially true.
It is definitely a teen movie. All the main characters are in high school and it covers all the aspects of high school drama you can name. But, the basic story is interesting and we enjoyed the actors.
Do not leave once the credits start rolling! There is a little more to the story along with the credits. Everyone else had left the theater and we were the only ones who were still there when this little tidbit came on.
Perhaps they are setting up for a Wish Upon 2.
