Review of Wish Upon (2017) by David W — 10 Aug 2017

Unfortunately 'Wish Upon' fails to deliver in almost all aspects. The acting is substandard with little character development, the plot is generic, and the dialogue is just plain boring. Not once did I feel an ounce of suspense in this "horror" film. All of the scares were predictable and cheap. One of the worst scenes in the movie (there are many) was the elevator scene when it comes crashing down. I'm not sure what budget they had for this film, but they coupd have done better than that. That scene was downright laughable because of how fake it looked. In fact I about left the theater after that because I was over it at that point. However, if you are in the mood to watch a brainless horror/comedy film, this would be the one!
