Review of Wish I Was Here (2014) by Alexander P — 22 Sep 2014
Charm can take a film a long way, and Zach Braff clearly knows it. Something else he knows is how to perfectly balance drama and comedy. The laughs come thick and fast, especially at the start, but when the emotional punch came, I was welling up.
The child actors were also very good, which is normally something that I find annoying and distracting in films. I wish films like this would find a bigger audience, because there is so much charm and so much to enjoy, I highly recommend it.
