Review of Wish I Was Here (2014) by Leon B — 25 Feb 2015
Despite the philosophical musings about Life, Death, Family, and Career remaining unresolved at the film's end, Wish I Was Here is able to freshly explore these realms with its convincing emotional portrayal of mankind's aspirations and fears.
Laced with beautiful California locales and an excellent use of humour, Wish I Was Here offers a deeper look into existence, the objective state of living, and the essence of living, the "flavours" of life (teaching, discovery, forgiveness) of which characterise our physical existence.
A job well done to Zach & Adam Braff for investigating the "flavours" we find every morning in our cups of life coffee.
