Review of Wish I Was Here (2014) by Paul P — 15 Mar 2015
A slight film but very entertaining film. It's great to have Zach both in front and behind the camera, but it doesn't feel all that different from Garden state. This is by no means a problem, but Zach's character feels like Largeman 10 years later, a struggling actor encountering problems connecting with family.
Hopefully we will see more of Zach in the future that stretches beyond this. That being said, the cast are terrific, the soundtrack spot on and there is that wonderful feel good factor that is hard to deny.
