Review of Wise Guys (1986) by Caoimhin Ó — 02 Apr 2008
I quite liked this. Original, some great tropes, great characters (Fixer is one of the funniest characters i've seen in ages, and the over-the-top performance didn't tire). Keitel, whom I endlessly enjoy, was a bit meh, though it was a small part.
Piscopo definitely upstaged De Vito (who, being the lesser actor, naturally went on to greater fame, a la Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Reeves, Jones, etc.
