Review of Wisconsin Death Trip (1999) by Nordic S — 13 Apr 2009
Too arty perhaps? I guess I was expecting a traditional documentary, maybe an exploration of why everyone went so mental. I also did not get the interspersing of clips from the present Black River Falls--it seemed sort of mocking, but not necessary for comparison.
It definitely got me interested in the topic, but seemed too much like something I would have had to watch in my college Film class, although I might check out the book that it is based upon.
