Review of Winter's Tale (2014) by Larissa C — 12 Feb 2014
It was a lovely movie, with a very deep message aiming for hope. I expected more magic and fantasy, but I only some reasonable special effect. From what I read about the novel, the film fail to present important parts.
At the end of the movie, I had a feeling that something was missing... The performers were very believe: I love Jessica Brown and Jenifer Connely in their roles, and Collin Farrel was an excellent Peter Lake, although at first I thought this was a role for a younger actor.
I enjoy also the particpation of Will Smith, not so sure about Russell Crowe (I found it a little vague).
