This film could have been interesting but as it is it's just a romantic/fantastic drama for St valentine's day, that will be very soon forgotten. Russell Crowe manages to be insufferable with his weird accent and hideous scar.
Farrell is ok as always but he seems very miscast in this type of films. The cinematography is ok but since a lot of scenes were shot in studios, it sort of break the magic from time to time and give the film a cheap TV look.
With my friends we couldn't help but laugh and laugh every time something dramatic happened. The overall acting was pretty terrible due to some bad dialogues, bad editing and a complete lack of actor direction.
Sorry I really didn't like this film, it's not my type of entertainment for sure but beyond that it felt like a cheap TV movie not an epic love story... Three times too bad.
