A good film, but exceptionally trashy. In fact, I can say without a doubt that Winter's Bone is one of the trashiest, and probably one of the darkest films I have ever seen. As a stumbleupon meme I once found said about this film, "poor people are depressing.
" Though that meme was obviously a joke, it is unfortunately true in this film's case. This is a very depressing film...a good film, but not one you're gonna want to watch over and over again.
