Review of Winter's Bone (2010) by Paul D — 11 May 2012
While it starts off pretty good, it turns into a bore-fest relatively quickly. Jennifer Lawrence does an amazing acting job in this, and it's thanks to her that I made it through the entire film. Not sure why this was considered Oscar bait though.
I remember a time when the films that were nominated were actually good.
