Review of Winter Sleep (2014) by Michael S — 19 Dec 2014
"Winter Sleep" | A | If you want to see a very good movie, go see "Still Alice." If you want to see a great movie, invest the time (3 hours) in "Winter Sleep," an epic, powerful, demanding work of art.

Aydin (Haluk Bilginer) engages in riveting verbal warfare with his wife Nihal and delivers the best performance by an actor this year, in the best film of the year - by far.
The supporting cast is superb. Why has Hollywood given up on this kind of filmmaking?
