Review of Winter Passing (2006) by Alexandra S — 09 Jun 2007

I've wanted to see this movie for about a year and finally balled-up and got around to it. When I first saw the preview/trailer/whatever I only knew that Ed Harris and Will Ferrell were in it. Upon watching it I realized Zooey Deschanel is the lead and I about flipped as I've put her on about the same level as Rachel McAdams.

Something about her...probably her eyes...Anyway the roles are played to perfection all around. At the same time I was hoping for a little bit more. We see who Zooey is but I feel the father could have been more developed which would have lead to a stronger connection in the closing minutes between Zooey and Ed.
