Review of Winter Light (1963) by John B — 17 Aug 2008
The second installment of Bergman's "Faith trilogy," "Winter Light," follows a local pastor with a dwindling congregation and a crisis of faith. The performances in this film are amazing and heartbreaking.
This film is an amazing and powerful look at the search for love and faith in a world abandoned by God. One of Bergman's best films.
