Review of Winter Light (1963) by Adam L — 19 Jul 2010
A coldly beautiful and understated film about the inaccessibility of God, ourselves, and others. The real power of the film lies in its restraint, a natural result of the protagonist's own moral and spiritual paralysis. Very good.
