Review of Winter Light (1963) by Manoj V — 08 Oct 2013
Being an ardent--let me rephrase it to obsessive--fan of Ingmar Bergman's films especially the ones which have Sven Nyquist as the cinematographer, this movie kinda let me down in terms of plot elements and happenings.
There's nothing much that happened in the entire time. But, the themes of faith, silence of god and unrequited love struck some sad chords along with magic cinematography that gave the movie a good stand among the notable works of Ingmar Bergman.
