My absolute favorite of all time. poetic, existential, spiritual without being new age sappy or hollywood superficial. wings of desire is a gorgeous meditation on life, death, subjectivity and what it means to be human.
its in german and french but reading the subtitles is a pleasure because every line is poetry..
