Review of Wings of Desire (1987) by Julia S — 31 Mar 2008
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful movie.
It is poetic (and consequently is slightly obtuse in places), but not hard to follow.
It affirms the joy (and pathos) in being human: in being alive and earthy and incarnate; and in being mortal, even. Also, it will forever change the way you look at Peter Falk :).
