One of the great films, and you're doing yourself an injustice if you stay away because of subtitles. Hey, Peter Falk and Nick Cave are in it, and they're speaking/singing in English, so no excuses.
See it for yourself, and skip the inferior (especially due to the ending) U.S. remake CITY OF ANGELS. Now go see it!
