Review of Wings of Desire (1987) by Kelly G — 10 May 2010
Although the shots were admirable in its beautiful composition and texture, the length of the movie was a little tiresome. The concept and idea was beautifully crafted and was executed wonderfully, but the characters were not engaging as much as they could have been.
The ending dragged on too much, as the woman's monologue to the man she has spent the whole film in search of is standing in front of her and she rambles on about her life story excessively, it was unnecessary.
The first three lines would have sufficed. Overall, an aesethically pleasing film with some ups and downs.
