The story is nice, but this movie is probably one of the worst war film I have ever watch.
John Woo to direct this movie is a bad idea, he is still great in manage slow motion scene and Long Shot.
But the weakness of editing and cinematography spoiled the movie...too many unneccessary explosive scenes!
John Woo often portrayed friendship between men in his movie, or relationship between enemies.
In Windtalkers, the characters of Nicolas Cage and Navajo codetalkers are not develop-well.
Filmmakers again made a mistake to focus on the character that is acted by big star.
