In spite of his wasted left ear , Nicolas takes up the responsibility to protect the radio man Adam Beach who knows operates the radio with a new secret encryption code . Movies has nice story line and WWII background on Japanese soil .
Nicolas undergoing the guilt of leaving his men dying in war , accepts this new responsibility jumps back into war and does things beyond the call of duty .
A action packed movie with battle not only with men but with emotions.
