Review of Windtalkers (2002) by G. Brandon H — 16 Jan 2009

I really enjoyed this when it first came out in theaters. Perhaps because I love John Woo and just enjoyed it for what it is. However, its really a pretty bad film. During some battle scenes, there is stock footage of ships blasting ammo and then there is a cut to the land where the soldiers are getting hit by the ammo.

Hilariously bad. Also, the script and dialogue stink, the acting so-so, the direction sloppy for Woo standards. The slow motion scenes are worth a laugh or two.
