Review of Windtalkers (2002) by Steve D — 24 Oct 2007
An interesting element of WWII hitherto untold. For some reason, the evident tension of the tale felt noticeably absent, but Woo is more of the Big Bang persuasion than the intimate, emotive stuff, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.
Adam Beach did do well as Ben Yahzee, tho. Overall, not bad. Just not brilliant. Nice explosions, mind you.
