Review of Windtalkers (2002) by Tammy B — 01 May 2008

I don't quite understand why this movie has such a bad reputation. Sure, many historical facts are a bit off and all weapon effects aren't really realistic, but nitpicking on those subjects means one completely missed the story between Cage's and Beach's characters.

I think Cage played his part well and even Christian Slater manages a decent performance. Adam Beach, on the other hand, is simply brilliant in his role as the Navajo soldier Ben Yahzee.

War and drama in the same package? I'm there!
