Review of Windtalkers (2002) by Ryan D — 08 Sep 2008
With a John Woo-directed film, you know your going to get tons of action, almost too much, and that's the case here. However, some of the scenes are decent but its extremely over the top with its one man army kind of action.
I think this story could have been told a lot better and in a more realistic fashion if someone like Ridley Scott or Oliver Stone was directing. If you have seen other John Woo movies like Faceoff, Broken Arrow, M:I 2 and Hardboiled Picture that over the top action in a vietnam flick and you got WindTalkers!
