Review of Windtalkers (2002) by Ed H — 08 Sep 2008
This is a worthwhile viewing experience. My only problem with it is that it seems to be typical of a Hollywood that likes to transplant 21st century morality onto 1940s wartime situations. Don't get me wrong, the film can be quite brutal, but it doesn't really ever feel like the menace the central characters are facing is "in your face".
And the ending's as predictable as I expected it to be, which annoyed me.
