The first scene had me chuckling. At first I thought it was an over dramatised dream sequence, how wrong I was. This movie has a lot of flaws. From the some what forced acting from Nicolas Cage's character, to the ridiculous and unrealistic effect shots.
I'm a fan of war flicks but this film oozes hollywood clichés and lacks grittiness and realism. It also suffers from a lackluster script and poor cinematography. Overall this film is a poor representation of a war movie and probably isn't worth watching.
