I disagree with the critics and the majority of the audience reviews on RT on this one. Jeremy Renner is a good actor but Wind River was too violent for me. Elizabeth Olsen is not a good actress and there was no need for her character at all.
There was not much depth to the plot. This movie was not 'character-driven.' I thought it would be more about Native American culture but instead it was gratuitous gun violence, beating and rape.
Disappointing.
