Review of Wind River (2017) by Jens S — 11 Mar 2018
Taylor Sheridan's third film of his Trilogy about the modern American trilogy is the gloomiest. The hunt for a murderer and rapist in the snowy Wyoming mountains is as chilly as it sounds, driven by great acting and culminates in a burst of violence.
50 years ago this film, similar to the two unrelated predecessors, would have worked perfectly as a western movie. It basically still is one. Outstanding work by everyone involved.
