Review of Wind River (2017) by Dann M — 13 May 2018
Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen star in the intense crime thriller Wind River. When a girl is found raped and murdered on an Indian reservation an FBI agent is called in and teams up with a wildlife officer to track down the killer.
Both Renner and Olsen give incredibly strong performances, and director Taylor Sheridan does an impressive job at creating an atmospheric tone. The writing too is well-done, creating a dramatic and compelling murder mystery.
Provocative and full of intrigue, Wind River is a remarkably engaging film.
