Ok mystery, but stumbles at the resolution. The obvious insert flashback scene showing "just what happened" feels out of place and throws off the pace of the film. The scene right after that feels like a cheap resolution and not worthy of the greater story.
The scenes between Jeremy Renner's and Gil Birmingham's characters are standouts, though and almost make up for it.
