Review of Wind River (2017) by Diggity H — 21 Sep 2017
A very good movie. Yes, a lot of the dialogue is quotes of wisdom rather than every day conversation, but I don't mind that at all because in this setting and situation I like the meaningful words of wisdom.
Also it seems like those that don't like this movie have a problem with the hero being a white man, well, those people missed something, the hero, the person of admiration is the Native American woman who ran 6 miles in the snow.
Don't know how people didn't feel that. That's the power punch of the film! I really enjoyed the guns drawn scene, just as I did in Sicario, it's tense and thrilling. Love the way the guy knew they were being flanked and that something was up.
I really enjoyed the movie. Go see it.
