Review of Wind River (2017) by Andrew R — 11 Sep 2017
I really liked this film. It was suspenseful, emotional/touching, well acted, beautifully filmed, flowed well, and the actors had chemistry with each other. One thing, at the end of the film there was a message that said that Native American women that are missing is not being recorded and included in the nationwide statistics.
Although this is alarming, it is not as tragic as it sounds. On Indian Reservations the locals keep track of its own people and they are not required to report to them to the US government. It's their way to be sovereign and in a way may be the hindrance in this instance.
