Review of Wind River (2017) by Oliver N — 08 Sep 2017
A strong script, well-chosen cast, and cinematic visuals places this a stride ahead of the field- Renner gives a subtle, yet superb performance-career-best, take note Academy- which the filmmakers clearly rely on, for the better or worse. Nonetheless, Wind River does exactly what it needs to do; delivers an unsettling, well-written mystery-drama guided well by an excellent lead pair of actors.
