Review of Wind Chill (2007) by Jeremy B — 04 Mar 2008
The atmosphere is thick - you can literally feel the winter chill - and the opening reels of the picture show promise as it seems to be a psychological thriller, gradually revealing character motivations that weren't apparent at first.
Unfortunately, the film takes a decisive nose-dive once it shifts gears and introduces a cliche-ridden tale of supernatural horror that is repetitive, redundant, and derivative of other ghost stories to come before it.
.. It's a shame, really, as the beginning showed such promise. Still, I would take this direct-to-video feature over other DTV's.
