Review of Winchester '73 (1950) by Luc L — 23 Apr 2013
A decent plot, some good acting given the age of the film. The actual gun is only loosely associated with the storyline. The better scenes are towards the beginning of the film before it tapers off into a standard chase out in the desert.
Clearly critically acclaimed, I found it ok but fairly ordinary for a Western.
