I dont know what people were expecting but Winchester is actually a pretty good, straight up haunted house flick. Im a pretty harsh critic of the horror genre, and I had a great time. Its also a rare occurrence for one of the heroes of any film to be an older woman.
Helen Mirren was terrific, as was the rest of the cast. I will definitely be buying this one on Bluray when it comes out :).
