Review of Winchester (2018) by Jodi W — 04 Feb 2018

Ignore all reviews - they're all wrong. This is a great movie that has been marketed wrong. It's not just a horror movie - it's an investigative mystery and a surprisingly moving drama wrapped in spooky atmosphere. The genre-hopping makes it hard to sell this in a trailer, but just know it's good. So good that, this is exactly the type of movie I wish I were making. Great performances, great visuals, and even better writing.

(yes there are some cheap jump scares. I liked them, shut up).
