As far as horror films go, I absolutely hate all the blood and guts gory slasher films with the exception of Nightmare on Elm St. Though as a kid Freddy gave me nightmares when I finally could fall asleep, I've grown to love how over the top he is and laugh at myself and how stupid the kids are setting themselves up to get got.

lol So this kind of movie is right up my alley. I love suspenseful movies. Was this the most scary I've ever seen, not by any means. But I did enjoy watching every minute of it. As for my rating I gave it high marks because I looked through some of the reviews and think some people were a bit harsh.

Yes the story of one of the most famous haunted houses in the world could of been different, but it is a story was from the creators of the films point of view. So for those who think so badly of it, why don't you fork out a few million dollars and create a movie about the house the way you think it should of been done instead of just complaining about how bad it was.
