Tom McCarthy goes three for three with Win Win, a sweet comedy-drama about a small-town New Jersey lawyer who takes on guardianship responsibility for an aging client, and then winds up taking in his runaway grandson, who just happens to be a champion wrestler.
Thoughtfully written characters are fully realized by a brilliant cast, and only enhanced by McCarthy's artful direction. If Hollywood supported these types of movies more often, the world would be a better place.
