Paul Giamattii has always been an actor that I liked to watch, up until now Cinderella Man was my favorite movie with him. in this film I believe he gives one of the best performances I have seen with him, and it helps with the new comer Alex Shaffer in his first film, but he does it in way that you can't really tell that he has never done acting before, the supporting cast of Amy Ryan, Bobby Cannavale and Jeffery Tambor make this films one of the best word of mouth movies I have seen this year.
