Review of Win Win (2011) by Jorge D — 25 Sep 2012
"Win Win" belongs to that category of films from some time now, has been called "independent drama", but unlike the vast majority of productions of this kind, can take excellent advantage of this structure, and the end result hovers far above average.
With the presence of Paul Giamatti always captivating, and with the amazing support of excellent rookie actor Alex Shaffer, this drama with doses of comedy, focuses on their characters very closely, but it never goes beyond that closeness giving the viewer the task of discovering them gradually, without anything sounds appealing, or handler.
More a story of lost people, that from an unexpected encounter, come to share a common goal, Win Win captivates and excites honestly, without exploring beyond measure, his ability to emote with simplicity.
8.0/10.0.
