Paul Giamatti does very well in his role as Mike, who is struggling financially and makes a decision that will change his life and that of his family (and I'm honestly puzzled that the movie is classed as a comedy).
There are many complicated relationships here and I felt the characters were portrayed realistically as no one is perfect.
