Review of Win Win (2011) by Kevin Y — 25 Jul 2014

This movie reminds me of 1 Kings 17, where Elijah asks a burdened woman for bread and oil even though she feels that she is at the end of her rope. Similarly, Mike feels that he is drowning financially, unable to support his practice or his family.

He is asked to take care of a boy, just like the woman for Elijah, and learn to increase his capacity to give and love others. From this we can truly see how the human capacity to love is increased especially in times of struggle.
