Review of Wimbledon (2004) by U-Jin L — 17 Aug 2010
A was a decent attempt at a sports themed romantic comedy. Paul Bettany did quite an alright job but Kristin Dunst wasn't as convincing. The editing for the tennis matches was slightly unrealistic but it helped create some nice tennis action for the film.
You start to root for his character during the matches and hope that he prevails. But tennis takes a backseat for most of the show as the focus is placed on rather sub-par attempts at creating romance and love between the two stars who lack the chemistry required to pull off the story.
