Review of Wimbledon (2004) by Eeva N — 12 Jul 2008
Technically, I don't think I'm qualified to review a film that I didn't actually watch from start to finish, but I'll make an exception with Wimbledon. I believe I saw enough to make up my mind what a load of crap it was.
Why was it so bad, you may wonder. Well, I think personally I was disappointed in Kirsten Dunst whom I normally rate very high to choose such an idiotic part to play - not to mention James McAvoy (and I thought I could love him unconditionally, but obviously not).
The story is rubbish, but the acting is even worse. It's just plain irritating from start to... well, about an hour to the film, because that's when me and my flatmate nearly had a vomiting attack and had to switch off.
OMG, that's all I can say.
