It works for me because I'm a tennis player, and the tennis action in the movie is pretty good, but the chemistry between Bettant and Dunst is solid and the movie has funny moments. Overall, an enjoyable, if predictable ride through a journeyman's attempt at tennis immortality.
Oh, and McEnroe sounded super disinterested. Shame.
