Review of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971) by Jackie C — 28 Jan 2012
Forget the Tim Burton movie, see this. I have never been so disappointed in a remake in my life. Stick to this one: Gene Wilder shines as the eccentric, somewhat malevolent, child-like entrepreneur of a large chocolate factory who picks five children, 4 naught, 1 nice, to be picked off, one by one, to run his factory when he dies.
A classic.
