Bobcat Golthwaits dip into horror is applause worthy on his part, but Willow Creek treads too far into suspense, giving us a deliverance that some may say is underwhelming. Willow Creek creeps upon you, and eats at your head, but not while you're watching the film.
Poor acting, overlong premise set up, yet superb scares are found among this spine tingling tale, and it comes together to make a forced, yet unforgettable screamer.
